Karlatornet is designed by architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, which is the firm behind the world’s tallest and most spectacular buildings, such as the Burj Khalifa in Dubai and One World Trade Center in New York. Karlatornet will be built by Serneke Bygg and is scheduled for completion in 2021.
The 590 flats are designed by some of Sweden’s leading architects. As a resident, you will have access to a gym, pool and unique services: order up dinner, send down your laundry or have your home cleaned before dinner.
Gothenburg’s new landmark
At 245 metres tall, Karlatornet is not just an extraordinary home; it is also an extraordinary hotel, and is in fact a brand new landmark for Gothenburg. You don’t have to own a flat to enjoy luxurious rooms. You can stay in one of the 300 rooms in Petter Stordalen’s new Clarion Hotel, which is wall-to-wall in the podium building. Here, you will have access to conference facilities, restaurants, bars, and a spa and gym.
The sky bar on the 69th floor offers beautiful views of Vinga, Marstrand and the Pater Noster Lighthouse. The sky bar will be a natural meeting place and an attraction that will draw visitors from near and far. The viewpoint connected to the sky bar will also be open to everyone.
There are still flats left in the tower. You can you see which ones HERE.
